Abstract
combination of general and regional anesthesia can provide the requirements of a day-case surgery to reduce treatment time, nosocomial infection risk and admission costs, improving reasonable, and effective postoperative recovery patients’ profile. The use of local anaesthetic blockade in provides several advantages. These include reduced intraoperative and postoperative pain control, optimize the quality of surgical field aiming for better surgical outcomes, improve intraoperative hemodynamics control, and enhance patient satisfaction. There are numerous nerve blocks used for different nasal surgeries, as example: greater palatine block, anterior ethmoidal nerve block, sphenopalatine block, supra, infraorbital nerve block, and supratrochlear block.

Tarek Mostafa has completed his MD at the age of 33 years from Tanta University, Egypt. He is the lecturer of anesthesiology and critical care department of Tanta University, Egypt.
