Title: Endoscopic removal of foreign bodies of the ENT organs due to mine blast injuries (clinical case).

Abstract

Kharkiv Regional Hospital is located near the war frontline, so we encounter a lot of military injuries in our practice. War injuries are challenging and require new techniques, advancement and modification of surgical approaches used before. One of the most common is the mine blast injury, which differs from other injuries in the unpredictability of the trajectory of spread of foreign bodies, so the clinical manifestations vary. Thus, treatment has its own peculiarities. We present a clinical case of a mine blast injury (shrapnel in the nasal septum) with a minimally invasive endoscopic treatment approach.
