Title: Endo-microscopic management of post traumatic facial nerve paralysis

Abstract

The post traumatic facial nerve paralysis is a real dilemma either as regard to the timing of intervention, the approach and the choice of the technique of repair. In last years, the introduction of using the endoscope in the field of Otology and Neurology gives a strong push forward to the concept of the minimal invasiveness in different techniques including the management of post traumatic facial nerve paralysis. So, the presentation aims for revealing an algorithm for the decision making for these cases by proper use of both endoscope and microscope to give the patient the best results with minimal invasive intervention.
